I’m a couple days behind but here goes…
January 5, 2018: What was the last major accomplishment you had?
My last major accomplishment was completing my LCSW. It was hard work getting there, but I am so proud of how far I have come.
I am thankful to all the people who helped and supported me along the way. Through experience, education, and prayer, I made it!
My next accomplishment in this arena would be to become a certified supervisor. I look forward to helping educate and teach the next generation of social workers.
January 6, 2018: What possession could you not live without?
Although my phone is ALWAYS with me, I have lived without it before (since there weren’t ALWAYS cellphones in my lifetime), so I’m sure I could do it again. BUT hear me loud and clear when I say I hope I don’t have to!
To look at this question deeper, my answer would be a bible. I have several bibles, versions, and the app on my phone, but I would be who I am today without the message inside of it.
My mother is an amazingly, wonderful, spiritually mature woman. She prayed over me before I was born and has led me by the bible my whole life. As an adult and child, bible verses have comforted me in times of sadness, given me strength in times of weakness, knowledge in times of confusion, and so much more. Thankfully, even without a physical copy of the bible, like Mary, I have kept the verses and “pondered them in my heart”.
